Monarflex RMB 400

Monarflex RMB 400 is part of Icopal’s Monarflex radon control systems and is used to protect buildings from the ingress of radon gas.

It is a loose-laid membrane and may be installed below or above a ground-bearing slab, or on top of a suspended concrete floor. Monarflex RMB 400 is recommended for use in situations of low to medium concentrations of radon gas. Monarflex RMB 400 is also suitable for use as a damp-proof membrane.

Monarflex RMB 400 is a high performance, 3 layer membrane manufactured from virgin low-density polyethylene (LDPE) with a polyester reinforcing grid to give high strength and tear resistance and low permeability to radon.

Ideal for sites with low to medium concentrations of radon
Can be loose-laid above a sand or smooth concrete blinding
Sheets should be lapped a minimum of 150mm and sealed with Monobond LT.
Can be used in conjunction with Alumite gas retardant dpc
Two roll widths available; 2m and 4m
